When do I get my money back after a cancellation?
In cases where the airline has to approve of the refund request, this might take up to 6-8 weeks. In exceptional situations (strike, closed airspace etc.) handling time can be even longer. We have no influence on this procedure, after we have passed the ticket on to the airline.
Passing the ticket on to the airline is usually necessary in these cases: cancellation due to change in timetable, previously changed tickets, cancellations because of exceptional regulations (negative travel advice, closed airspace, strike).
