An open jaw flight is similar to a round trip airline ticket which provides the traveler a return flight from a different city than he or she flew into.
For example, someone could fly from Berlin to New York, and then from Washington back to Berlin. Or, someone could fly from Berlin to New York, and then from Washington to Munich.

Open-jaw tickets are almost always less expensive than purchasing two one-way flights between the destinations visited.

From the age of 2 years a child pays a child tariff and hereby gains a right to a seat. These children tariffs are valid up to and including the age of 11 Years. Please note the that the age of the child on the return flight is important for this arrangement.
Up to the age of 23 months most airlines consider infants as eligible for infant tariffs. Infants have to travel on the lap of their mother or father and have no right of seat. They normally fly free of charge or at a cost of 10 % of the adult tariff. Please note that the age of the infant on the return flight is important for this arrangement.
